Little known fact; Paul Petersen (She Rides With Me) is the only person in the world to have been produced by Brian Wilson and to also have a release on Motown.

I really enjoyed this album, finally got to hear the god-like genuis that is 'Guess I'm Dumb', this song is incredible and I keep wondering what it would have sounded like with a Carl vocal on it, heaven sent probably!
I also like Spring's version of 'Fallin' In Love' and 'Pray For Surf' by the Honey's, the only thing that weighs this collection down is Gary Usher in my opinion - hemight have been a good song-writer and lyricist but his singing is just downright awful. Both the Usher songs on this collection would have been greatly enhanced by even a competent singer, ah well

Good to have if only for Guess I'm Dumb which would have been included on Today??? [if Glen hadn't vacated?] Interesting compilation but not the first lp folks should grab by any means. A 6.

"No Wilsons...NO Beach Boys." I find it impossible to argue with THAT.
