Thanks for the added ideas. the CD was sent on a plane already, but if there's ever a need for a second one I'll use these ones too.

Did you have to buy a seat, or is it flying in baggage?

Buddy pass.

I don't do pre-orders for that reason. When it's ready, it's ready, and I'll order it.

During Bruce's first shows with the group, he supposedly played a keyboard and Al played bass. Any idea what kind of keyboard? There weren't that many to choose from then, if memory serves. Fender didn't release its combo organ until after the CBS purchase. I seem to remember that Mike Smith played a Vox organ in the DC5, but could be wrong.

Mike's sax brand is probably pretty inconsequential, but it would still be interesting to know.

I've seen footage and photos of Bruce playing Hammond C-3 organs along with Farfisas (not together) in the mid-60's shows

Discovered this self-titled album from 1968 rather by chance recently and it is grabbing my ears with a vengeance.  Anyone who enjoys sunshine pop with a dash of Mamas and Papas (and something a bit deeper) is likely to be similarly enchanted.

They suck...never liked them never will.

Oh...Daughters Of Albion ? Thought you said West Bromwich Albion

Anyone know what the best version of the Today album is as far as being remastered, mixed, and not on vinyl. My original issue Today/Summer Days capitol CD from what is it now about years ago.... has that muddy mix. Is the more current version available any better? I know this album had a bad mix when it was recorded but with technology of late there must be a decent version available by now. I love Dennis singing on Do You Wanna Dance but am sick of it sounding like crap. On my CD it sounds like he's in a cardboard box. The boxed set 30th version seems the same to me as I own that as well.

Excellent performances and televised too! It's amazing how he has improved in the last 3 years.  The big guy was in great form, maybe a little nervous on Saturday at Dodger stadium but perfect in his encore gig on Sunday.  He was also impressive in Arizona.  In fact, he picked up saves in all 3 games and leads the NL with 41 saves as the Giants have closed the gap on the division leading Pads.
